The Paleo-Hebrew Alphabet is an alphabet used by the ancient Hebrews, or Jewish people, before the time of Jesus. The letters in the Paleo-Hebrew Alphabet look kind of like squiggly lines. Each letter had a special symbol that stood for a sound, like our ABC's do today. People used the symbols to form words, and they put words together to make stories and sentences. The Paleo-Hebrew Alphabet was used in the Bible to write down the stories and teachings of the Jewish people.
