Panel analysis

Panel analysis means studying how different things change over time. You can do panel analysis to figure out if different things are connected, like if two things cause each other, or if one thing changes when another thing changes. For example, you might do panel analysis to figure out if smiling more can help you feel better inside. Panel analysis looks at how one thing changes over time while another thing is also changing. You can then compare these changes to each other to see if they are related or if one causes the other.
