Panellets

Panellets are a type of sweet pastry that are very popular in Catalonia, a region in northeastern Spain. They are usually eaten during a special holiday called "Tots Sants" which means "All Saints" in English.

Panellets are made from ground almonds, sugar, and egg. These ingredients are mixed together and formed into small balls or shapes. The shapes are then covered with different toppings such as pine nuts, coconut, or chocolate.

Making panellets is a very fun activity for families during the Tots Sants holiday. Everyone helps to mix the ingredients, shape the pastry, and decorate the different toppings. After they are done, panellets are usually served with hot chocolate or sweet wine.

Panellets are not only delicious, but they are also a very important part of Catalonia's culture and tradition. They bring families together and remind us of the importance of celebrating together during holidays.
