Panic selling

Panic selling is when somebody is scared that something bad is going to happen and they sell something they own (like stocks or other investments) really quickly, before they do any research or think about the consequences. People usually do this because they are afraid they will lose money and they don't want to wait to see what will happen. It's like when you get scared by something and run away without thinking.
