Paparazzi Project
Okay, imagine you're a famous person, like a singer or an actor that everyone knows. Everywhere you go, people want to take your picture and ask you questions. Sometimes it's okay, but sometimes it's not, and it can be really upsetting or overwhelming.
Now imagine that there are some people whose job it is to follow you around all the time with cameras and recorders, trying to get pictures and information about you that they can sell to magazines, newspapers, or websites. That's what we call paparazzi, and they can be really annoying sometimes.
So the paparazzi project is a way for people to use technology and creativity to try and help famous people deal with these pesky photographers. They come up with different ideas and tools to help celebrities avoid or outsmart the paparazzi, like devices that can jam the cameras or make it harder for them to follow you, or apps that can alert you when there are paparazzi nearby.
It's important to remember though, that not all paparazzi are bad and some of them are just trying to do their job. So the paparazzi project is not about stopping all of them, but rather finding ways to make everyone's life a little bit easier and less stressful.
