Paper tiger

Well kiddo, have you ever heard of tigers? They are big, strong, and scary animals that live in the jungle. But have you ever heard of a paper tiger? It doesn't actually mean a tiger made out of paper. It means something or someone that seems strong or scary, but when you look closer, they're actually very weak.

For example, imagine a friend at school who always talks about how tough they are and how they can beat up anyone. They might seem like a scary tiger, but when it comes time to actually fight, they might back down and not be as strong as they said they were. That's a paper tiger.

Sometimes, countries can be paper tigers too. They might have big armies and lots of weapons, but when they are faced with a real problem, they might not be able to solve it or defend themselves as well as they thought.

So, when you hear someone talking about a paper tiger, it just means that they look scary or strong, but in reality, they are not as powerful as they seem.
