Paradox of enrichment

The Paradox of Enrichment is a tricky thing to understand because it doesn't always make sense. It's like this: if you give a person more money, they will usually be happier, but after a certain point, money doesn't make people any happier. So more money doesn't actually make us better off. It's like trying to fill a bucket with water but the hole in the bottom is bigger than the water you're putting in. No matter how much water you add, the bucket never gets full. That's the Paradox of Enrichment.
