ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Parallam

Parallam is a really strong type of wood. It looks like lots of little pieces of wood that have been glued together to make one giant, super-powerful piece of wood. It's kind of like when you stack a bunch of blocks together to make a really big tower. The blocks don't fall over because they're all stuck together. Parallam works the same way - the little pieces of wood are really tightly stuck together so they don't come apart. People use parallam for building things like bridges, floors, and big buildings because it's really strong and can hold a lot of weight without breaking.
