ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Passive learning

Passive learning is when you learn things without really putting in any effort. It's like learning things by accident!

Imagine you're just sitting in a classroom, with your teacher talking about a topic, and you're not really paying attention. But you hear things and some of that information sticks in your head without you even trying. That's passive learning!

Passive learning can happen in many different ways, not just in a classroom. For example, you can learn things just by watching TV or listening to music. Sometimes you don't even know you're learning because you're having fun!

But passive learning isn't always the best way to learn things. It's important to actively learn and engage with the material so you fully understand it. So, it's good to try to focus and pay attention, even when you're not super interested in what's being taught.
