ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Patriarchal age

Okay, kiddo, let's dive into the topic of patriarchal age.

A long time ago, there were people who believed that men were in charge of everything, and they were called patriarchs. They believed that men were stronger and smarter than women, so they should always be in charge. This time is called the patriarchal age.

During the patriarchal age, men were the leaders of families, tribes, and countries. Women were expected to do things like cooking and cleaning, taking care of kids, and not to speak up or have opinions. Sounds not cool, right?

Unfortunately, women didn't have equal rights or opportunities in the patriarchal age. It was a very different time than today, where everyone has the right to do what they want and have an equal say.

So we should always remember, no matter what anyone else thinks, everyone has the same power, abilities, and potential to achieve their dreams!
