Patronal feast day

Have you ever celebrated your birthday? Well, just like how you have a special day to celebrate when you were born, in some places, there are special days to celebrate the special people that their town or church is named after. We call these special days the "Patronal Feast Day."

For example, let's say your church is named Saint Michael. On Saint Michael's patronal feast day, everyone who goes to that church would celebrate and remember Saint Michael. They might have a big feast or a special church service to honor him.

It's like a special day where everyone gets together to remember and celebrate the person their church or town is named after. Isn't that cool?
