Pax (liturgy)

Pax is a special time during a church ceremony where people exchange a sign of peace. Just like we say "hi" or give a high-five to our friends and family, during pax we exchange a handshake, hug, or even just nod our head to show love and respect to those around us. This is a time to remind us that we are all part of the same community and that we should care for one another. It's a special moment that adds extra meaning to the ceremony and helps us feel closer to each other and to God.
