Peștera cu Oase

Peștera cu oase is a place where lots of fossils and bones were found. Imagine you're playing outside and you find a bunch of old toys and things buried in the ground. That's what happened here, but instead of toys, they found old bones that belonged to animals and people who lived a really, really long time ago.

This peștera looks like a big cave and it's in Romania. A long, long time ago, the cave was a really important place for animals and people because they could shelter in it from the cold weather. The people who lived there were called Neanderthals, and they were a lot like us but a bit different.

When scientists found the fossils and bones in the peștera, they were really excited because it could help them understand how the Neanderthals lived and what they looked like. They looked at all the different parts of the bones, like the teeth and the size of the skull, to learn about the Neanderthals.

Although the peștera looks a bit spooky and dark, it's turned out to be really important because it has taught us so much about what life was like a really, really long time ago.
