Peacekeeping

Peacekeeping is when people from different countries come together to help stop a fight or sometimes help protect people. The people involved in peacekeeping are called peacekeepers and they usually wear uniforms so people can recognize them. They carry special flags that show they are there to help. Peacekeepers go to places where people are fighting or fighting is about to start, and then they help the people find ways to solve their problems without fighting. They also protect people who might be in danger during the fighting. So, peacekeepers help people find peace so they can live without fighting.
