Penetration test

A penetration test is like a game of hide and seek, but with computers. A person called a "penetration tester" will try to find weaknesses in the computers, networks, and systems that make up a company's digital infrastructure. The goal is to make sure that it can withstand attempts by unauthorised people to get in and access sensitive information. To do this, the penetration tester will try various methods, including guessing passwords, looking for hidden access points, trying to break encryption codes, and performing scans of systems. They also have specialised tools and software that can help them search for weaknesses. The goal is to find those weaknesses before criminals do!
