Peripheral neuropathy

Per-i-pher-al neu-ro-path-y is when the little nerves in your toes and fingers get hurt or sick. These little nerves help you feel things like hot or cold, and they also help you move your muscles. When they get sick, you might not feel things as well or your muscles might not work as well. This can make it hard to walk or do things with your hands. Sometimes, people's nerves can get sick if they have a sickness or take medicine for a long time.
