Persistent Object Identifier

A persistent object identifier (POI) is like a label or a name that never changes, even when things around it do. For example, if you had a toy car and you changed where you kept it over and over again, the toy car's POI would stay the same even though the car's location had changed. Doing this helps keep track of things!
