Phase-out of gas boilers

Okay kiddo, so you know how our house has a boiler that makes hot water for our baths and showers and heats up the radiators that keep us warm?

Well, lots of houses and buildings also have boilers like ours that use gas to make heat and hot water. But there's a problem - using gas creates pollution which can be bad for the environment and our health.

So, some people are trying to figure out how we can stop using gas boilers and find better ways to keep us warm and provide hot water without harming the planet.

This is called the "phase-out" of gas boilers - it means we want to gradually stop using them over time and replace them with something better.

Researchers are working on new technology that can make heating and hot water without using gas - maybe we can use electricity or renewable energy like solar power instead. And we can also look for ways to make buildings better insulated so we need less heat in the first place.

It might take some time and effort to phase-out gas boilers, but it's all for a good cause - to help protect our planet and keep us safe and healthy!
