Pheme (project)
Okay kiddo, so Pheme is a special project that tries to figure out if something is true or false on the internet. You know how sometimes people say things that aren't true or they make up stories on the internet? Well, Pheme tries to catch those false stories and make sure people know the truth.
Pheme is kind of like a detective. It looks at different websites like Twitter, Facebook, news sites, and blogs to see if people are sharing or talking about something that might not be true. It also looks at how many people are talking about that thing and if it's spreading really fast.
If Pheme thinks something might be false, it tells other smart people who can look at it more closely and figure out if it's really true or not.
