ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Phenomenon-based learning

Phenomenon-based learning is a type of education where you learn about a real-world phenomenon. This means that instead of just reading about a topic in a book or listening to a lecture, you look at a real-world situation and explore it. For example, instead of just learning about the Earth's water cycle in class, you could go outside and examine the water cycle in action: collecting rainwater samples, looking at how water flows across the land and into streams and oceans, and more. By exploring the real-world phenomenon, you learn more about how it works and how it affects your life.
