Philip Nitschke

Philip Nitschke is a doctor from Australia who has a special interest in helping people who are very sick and facing death. He is known as the 'Father of Voluntary Euthanasia' because he believes that if someone is in a great deal of pain or suffering, they should have the right to end their life in a way that is peaceful and dignified. He also believes that everyone should have the right to access information on how best to do this, which he provides through his organization, Exit International.
