Photoimmunotherapy

Alright kiddo, you know how sometimes you get sick and your mom gives you medicine to help your body feel better? Well, sometimes when people get sick, they need stronger medicine to help them get better. And one of those ways is photoimmunotherapy.

Photoimmunotherapy is kind of like a superhero medicine that helps people fight against really bad diseases like cancer. The way it works is by using a special kind of light that can only be seen by the superhero medicine. So they shine this light on the sick part of the body and it helps to destroy the bad cells that are making the person sick!

But, the superhero medicine is really smart because it only shows up on the bad cells and not on the good cells. That way, it won't hurt any of the healthy cells that the person needs to stay strong and healthy.

Photoimmunotherapy is still being tested and researched to see how well it works on different kinds of sicknesses like cancer. But scientists and doctors hope that one day it can help a lot of people feel better and get healthier.
