Physician detailing

Okay kiddo, have you ever gone to a doctor when you were not feeling well? Yes? Well, doctors have to learn a lot about different medicines so they can help someone like you feel better.

Now, sometimes, the companies that make these medicines want the doctors to know more about them. So, they send a special person called a 'physician detailer' to meet the doctors and talk to them about the medicine they make.

The physician detailer tells the doctor all about the medicine, how it works, how it can help someone feel better, and also tells the doctor which patients could use this medicine. The detailer may also give the doctor some gifts, like pens and notepads with the medicine's name on them.

But it is important to remember that the doctor should make their own decision about which medicine is best for a patient, even if a physician detailer recommends one. That way, the doctor can make sure you get the medicine you need and feel better.
