Picasso's Rose Period

Okay kiddo, do you know who Picasso is? He was a really famous artist who lived a long time ago. He liked to draw and paint different things and he became very good at it.

One time in his life, he went through what we call a "rose period." This is because during this time, he used a lot of pink and red colors in his paintings, which reminds people of a rose flower.

During this period, Picasso painted a lot of happy things like circus performers, clowns, and people having fun. He also liked to use different shapes and lines to make the paintings look interesting.

The rose period started in 1904 and lasted for about 3 years. After that, Picasso moved on to other styles of painting. But people still remember his rose period paintings because they are so pretty and happy-looking.
