Pickled carrot

Hi there! Have you ever heard of pickles? They're cucumbers that have been soaked in vinegar, salt, and water for a while. Well, pickled carrots are basically the same thing, but with carrots instead of cucumbers.

So you know how carrots are usually crunchy and kind of sweet? When you pickle them, they become softer and sour instead. This happens because the vinegar and salt break down the carrots a little bit and make them taste different.

Pickled carrots can be really yummy! They're often used as a snack or a side dish, and some people even put them on sandwiches. Plus, since they're pickled, they can last longer in the fridge than regular carrots.
