ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Pink Map

Do you know what a map is? It's like a picture of the earth and shows where different places are located. Now, imagine a map that's all pink! That's called a pink map.

But why is it pink? Well, the color pink is used to show which countries in the world have laws that protect people who are LGBTQ+. That means if you are gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender, these countries have rules in place to make sure you're treated fairly.

Isn't that great?! It's important for everyone to be respected and protected, no matter who they love or how they identify themselves. So, a pink map is a special type of map that shows where the LGBTQ+ community is celebrated, supported, and protected.
