Plant reproduction

Plants reproduce by using special parts called flowers. On flowering plants, the flowers contain parts like petals and sepals that help attract insects and wind so that the plant can make "seeds". Inside each flower are lots of tiny parts that help to make the seeds. There are male parts called anthers, which make pollen, and female parts called stigma and pistil, which receive the pollen from the male anthers. When the pollen from the male is put onto the female parts, the plant makes seeds. The seeds can then grow into new plants.
