Plantation

A plantation is a large area of land used for farming crops. It's usually owned by one person or a group of people who have many workers to help them. Plantations usually grow the same type of crop. For example, it might be a plantation used to grow cotton, coffee, or sugar. The people who work on the plantation are called "planters" and their job is to take care of the crops, tend the land, harvest the crops, and take care of the workers.
