Plasma polymerization

Plasma polymerization is a process where gas molecules, like oxygen and nitrogen, are turned into a solid material, like plastic, by using electrically charged particles, or ions, and energy from a machine called a plasma reactor. The process starts by putting a gas, like nitrogen or oxygen, inside the plasma reactor. Then, the machine creates a lot of electrically charged particles, or ions, and sends them into the gas. These ions and the energy from the machine breaks apart the gas molecules and changes them into a new material, like plastic. That new material sticks together to form a solid. That's plasma polymerization!
