Pocket dialing

Pocket dialing is when you accidentally make a call with your phone while it is in your pocket or purse. Sometimes, when you move around with your phone in your pocket, the buttons on the phone may get pushed by mistake. This can make your phone call someone without you actually meaning to call them.

So, imagine you have a toy phone in your pocket, like the ones you play with. When you move around, sometimes the buttons on the toy phone can get accidentally pushed, and it might make a noise like it's calling someone. The same thing can happen with a real phone in your pocket, and it can call someone without meaning to.

This can be a problem because it can call someone you don't want to talk to or accidentally make your phone use a lot of data or credit. So it's important to be careful when carrying your phone around, and also make sure to lock it or switch it off to prevent it from pocket dialing.
