ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Poetic naturalism

Poetic naturalism is a way of writing about nature that uses a lot of poetic language, or words and phrases with extra meaning. It is like turning everyday things in nature into something bigger and more special. For example, if you wrote about a sunbeam you could say "a bright ray of sunshine streaming through the trees" instead of just saying "the sun was shining". It is a way to make nature seem more beautiful, wonderous and magical.
