Pogrom

A pogrom is a very bad thing that happened to Jewish people a long time ago. It means that a big group of mean people would get together and hurt, kill, or steal from Jewish people just because they were Jewish. It's like when a bully hurts someone just because they are different. Many Jewish people were hurt or killed during pogroms and it was very sad. Pogroms are very wrong and we should always try to be kind to everyone no matter who they are or where they come from.
