Polish Americans

Polish Americans are people who have ancestors or family members who came from Poland to America a long time ago or recently. Poland is a country in Europe, and America is a country in North America.

Polish Americans have a special culture that they share with each other, like the way they celebrate holidays or the traditional food they eat. They may also speak Polish or know about the history of Poland.

Polish Americans have made important contributions to America, like fighting in wars, building businesses and homes, and creating art and music. They are part of the big American family, but they also hold onto their Polish heritage and are proud of their roots.
