Political families of Pakistan

Okay kiddo, so in Pakistan there are some families who have been involved in politics for a very long time. These families are like a big group of people who work together to gain power and make decisions that affect the whole country.

You know how in school, there are groups of friends who like to hang out together and always do things together? Well, these political families are like that but on a much bigger scale.

One of these families is called the Bhutto family. They have been involved in Pakistani politics for over 50 years. The first person in their family to become involved in politics was a guy named Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. He was the Prime Minister of Pakistan back in the 1970s.

After Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, his daughter Benazir Bhutto became a big politician too. She was actually the first woman to become the Prime Minister of Pakistan! Sadly, she was assassinated in 2007.

But even after Benazir's death, her family is still working to stay involved in politics. Her husband and sons are all politicians too.

Another political family in Pakistan is the Sharif family. They are also a big deal in Pakistani politics. The head of this family is named Nawaz Sharif and he has been the Prime Minister of Pakistan three times!

His brother Shahbaz Sharif is also very involved in politics. In fact, he is the current Chief Minister of Punjab which is a big state in Pakistan.

So basically, political families in Pakistan are groups of people who work together to gain power and make decisions for the whole country. There are a few big families who have been involved in politics for a very long time and they all have their own leaders who are trying to make a difference.
