Politics of North Korea

Alright kiddo, let's talk about North Korea and politics! North Korea is a country located in East Asia, ruled by a man named Kim Jong-Un and his political party called the Workers’ Party of Korea.

In North Korea, the government controls EVERYTHING. This means the government controls the media, the economy (how people make money), and how people behave (what they can and can’t do).

North Korea thinks that their way of doing things is the best way. They don’t like other countries telling them how to run their own country, so they don’t have friendly relationships with lots of other countries.

Also, in North Korea, the government is the boss of everyone. There is no democracy, which means people don’t vote for who they want to be in charge. Instead, the government chooses who will run the country.

This kind of government is called a dictatorship. In a dictatorship, one person has all the power and people have to listen to them. In North Korea, Kim Jong-Un is the dictator.

The government in North Korea is very strict. They decide what people learn in school, what they can watch on TV, and what they can say. People have to follow lots of rules or they can get in trouble.

Even though North Korea is not very friendly with lots of other countries, it has a lot of military power. This means they have a lot of weapons like guns and missiles. They use this military power to try and scare other countries and make sure they can’t hurt North Korea.
