Polygenism

Polygenism, my dear, is a big word that talks about a theory that says humans didn't all come from one place or creator. Instead, it suggests that there were many different origins for humans! This theory was popular a long time ago when people didn't have all the scientific evidence we have now. It was thought that different races of people had completely separate beginnings, and each had different qualities, strengths, and weaknesses. But now we know that all humans come from the same place, and we have a lot of DNA and archaeology to prove it. So, while it was a popular idea in the past, we now know it's not true.
