Polypropylene raffia

Okay kiddo, so have you ever seen those woven bags that you can carry groceries or toys in? They're usually made from a material called polypropylene raffia.

The polypropylene is melted down and turned into long, thin strands, kind of like spaghetti. Then, the raffia fibers are woven in and out of these strands, kind of like how you might braid your hair. This creates a really strong and durable material that looks like a woven pattern.
