Polytheistic reconstructionism

Polytheistic reconstructionism is a system of beliefs and practices based on the attempt to reconstruct the beliefs, rituals, and other aspects of ancient religions. It's a bit like playing dress-up: you dress up in the sort of clothing people thought was important to them back then, pay attention to the symbols and stories the people of that religion valued, and honor the gods they believed in. It's like being a pretend time-traveler so you can step back into the past and experience what it was like to be a part of that faith.
