Pompadour (hairstyle)

Hey kiddo, do you know what a pompadour hairstyle is? It's a type of haircut where the hair is short on the sides and back of the head, but longer and towering on the top. It's sort of like a big wave on top of the head that sticks up.

The way to make a pompadour is to first cut the hair on the sides and back of the head shorter than the hair on top. Then, you take some hair gel or wax and put it in your hands. You rub your hands together until the gel is evenly spread across them.

Then, you take your hands and run them through your hair on the top of your head, pushing the hair back to create the big wave. You can use a comb to make sure the wave is even and to add some more shape to the hairstyle.

Pompadours became popular in the 1950s and are often associated with rockabilly music and style. They're still popular today, especially among people who like a retro or vintage look. It's a fun and stylish way to show off your hair!
