Poppers experiment was a scientific experiment done by a scientist named Sir Karl Popper in 1934. It was designed to test the idea that you can learn something by making a prediction, then testing it, and then repeating the experiment. In the experiment, Popper put some peas in a box and set it up so that when a switch was pressed, the peas would move. He then made a prediction that if the switch was pressed again, the peas would move again. Then he tested this prediction by pressing the switch and seeing if the peas did move. The experiment tested Popper's path to scientific knowledge which he called the "hypothesis-testing" method: make a prediction (a hypothesis), test it, and repeat the experiment to get more information.
