Popular opposition to war on Iraq

Okay kiddo, so some grown-ups in charge of our country wanted to go to war with Iraq because they thought they had weapons that could hurt us. But not everyone agreed with this decision and didn't think it was a good idea. So a lot of people spoke up against going to war and protested to try and stop it. They thought it would hurt innocent people and not really solve anything. Even some important people like politicians and celebrities spoke out against it. In the end, the war still happened but it was a big deal that so many people were against it.
