Portraits of Charles Darwin

Charles Darwin was a really smart man who lived a long time ago. He wrote a very important book called "On the Origin of Species." People like him so much that they made pictures of him called portraits. Portraits are just like regular pictures but they are really special because they show what a person looks like in a special way. Darwin was very interested in studying plants and animals, which is why he is often in these portraits with plants or pictures of animals he discovered. He also had a big beard which is something people remember him for, so you'll see that in a lot of his portraits. Overall, portraits of Charles Darwin are a way to remember how important he was and how much he contributed to science.
