ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Portuguese Guyanese

Okay kiddo, so there's this place called Portuguese Guyana or Guyane, which is located in South America. It used to be a colony of France, but lots of people from Portugal (which is in Europe) moved there and started their own communities. So these people are called Portuguese Guyanese because they come from Portugal but live in Guyana. They speak a mix of Portuguese, French, and Creole languages and have their own unique culture and traditions. It's pretty cool that people from different parts of the world can come together and make a new home! Did that help you understand, little buddy?
