Positive relative accommodation

Positive relative accommodation is when your eyes work together to focus on something up close or far away. When you look at something up close, like a book or a phone, your eyes have to work harder to focus so you can see clearly. When you look at something far away, like a tree, your eyes can relax and it's easier to see clearly.

Your eyes have special muscles that help them change shape to focus on objects at different distances. When you look at something up close, these muscles have to contract (squeeze together) to change the shape of the lens in your eye. This makes the lens thicker so you can see the object more clearly. This is called your eyes' ability to accommodate.

Positive relative accommodation happens when both of your eyes work together to accommodate. They try to focus on the same thing at the same time, which helps you see things more clearly. This is important because if your eyes don't work together, it can cause problems like double vision or eye strain.
