Posivannia

Posivannia is a Ukrainian word that means "sowing," which is the process of planting seeds to grow crops.

Let's say you want to plant a tomato garden. First, you need seeds - this is where posivannia comes in. You take the tomato seeds and sprinkle them on the soil in sections or rows.

But wait, just putting the seeds on the soil won't work, because they need to be covered with soil to protect them as they are growing. So, after you've sprinkled the tomato seeds on the soil, you will use a small shovel or rake to cover them with soil.

Next, you will water the area where you just planted the tomato seeds. The water helps the seeds to germinate (start to grow) and nourishes them as they continue to grow.

After a few weeks, if everything goes well, you'll start to see little sprouts popping up from the soil where the tomato seeds were planted. These sprouts will grow into tomato plants, and eventually will give you delicious, juicy tomatoes that you can pick and eat.

So, posivannia is the act of sowing seeds, which means planting them in the soil and taking care of them through watering so they can grow into healthy plants.
