ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Post-2015 Development Agenda

The post-2015 development agenda is a global plan to end poverty and hunger, fight inequality and injustice, and tackle climate change by 2030. It's made up of 17 big goals to make sure we all work together to create a better world. These goals are things like ensuring everyone has enough food to eat, increasing access to education, providing clean water and energy, creating jobs, and reducing pollution. They are important because they will help us make sure people all around the world are taken care of and treated fairly. The post-2015 agenda also suggests ways governments and NGOs (nonprofit organisations) can help create a better future for everyone. They do this by investing in projects, like building schools and hospitals, providing grants for small businesses, and improving access to healthcare. All these things are important in order to build a better world where everyone can thrive.
