Post-Soviet studies is all about understanding what happened in the countries that used to be part of the Soviet Union after the Soviet Union fell apart. When the Soviet Union fell apart, all of the countries that used to be part of it became their own countries. People who study post-Soviet studies learn about the changes in these countries, like how government and life in general changed after the Soviet Union stopped existing. They also look at how life changed for people living in these countries during and after the fall of the Soviet Union. They learn about the different challenges and problems that each country faced and how the people who lived there were affected.
