Postpartum depression

Hi there!

Postpartum depression is when a mommy gets very sad and unhappy after having a baby. This can happen because of a lot of different things like hormones, stress, and changes in lifestyle.

Sometimes mommies can feel like they're not doing a good job taking care of their babies, even if they are. This can be really hard for them and make them cry a lot or feel angry or irritable.

Other mommies might feel really tired all the time or lose interest in things they used to like doing. They might have trouble sleeping or eating, or feel like they don't have any energy.

It's important for mommies to talk to their doctors if they feel this way, because there are lots of ways to help them feel better. Sometimes doctors might give mommies medicine or suggest counseling or support groups. And remember, it's not the mommy's fault if she feels this way - it's a really common thing that happens to a lot of mommies, and with help and love, she can start feeling better soon!
