Poverty in the Arctic

Poverty in the Arctic means that people living in very cold parts of the world, like Alaska and northern Canada, don't have enough money or resources to live well. This is because living in such a remote and harsh place is expensive, and there aren't always enough jobs or opportunities to make money.

Sometimes, people who live in the Arctic also face other challenges that make it hard to get by. For example, there may not be enough affordable housing or healthy food options, and sometimes there are problems with things like alcoholism or drug addiction.

All of these factors can make it difficult for people in the Arctic to build a good life for themselves and their families. However, there are people and organizations working to help address these issues and improve the standard of living for those affected by poverty in the Arctic.
