Power (physics)

Power is a measure of how much work can be done in a given amount of time. It is like mixing water and flour to make bread—the more water and flour you mix together, the more bread you can make. Power is like a measure of how much of that mixing or work you can do in a certain amount of time. Usually, power is measured in Watts, which is one joule (a unit of work) per second.
